Acceptable Use Policy

This policy keeps CloudBox safe, legal and private for everyone. It applies to everyone who uses the service and forms part of our Terms of Service.

You must not use CloudBox to

• Store, share or transmit content that is illegal under UK law, including child sexual abuse material, terrorist content, or content that incites violence or hatred.
• Infringe intellectual property or share content you don't have the right to distribute.
• Distribute malware, viruses, or anything designed to harm devices, data or networks.
• Send spam, phishing, or unsolicited bulk messages, or use the free tier to distribute links at scale abusively.
• Harass, threaten, defame or violate the privacy of others.
• Attempt to breach, probe or circumvent the security, rate limits or access controls of the service.
• Resell or misrepresent the service, or impersonate CloudBox or any other person or organisation.

Privacy and our limits

Because transfers are zero-knowledge and drive data is encrypted, we cannot see the contents of your files and do not monitor them. We rely on this policy, on reports, and on lawful requests. Where we receive a valid report or legal notice of abuse, we will act — including removing access to reported links, suspending accounts, and cooperating with law enforcement where required.

Reporting abuse

If you believe content shared through CloudBox breaches this policy or the law, please report it to hello@cloudbox.biz with the share link and a description. We take reports seriously and respond promptly.

Consequences

Breaching this policy may result in removal of content or links, suspension or termination of your account without refund, and, where appropriate, referral to the relevant authorities. We may update this policy as needed to keep the service safe.
